When I dropped Georgia off with a friend while we shopped, she asked what we were looking for. I told her a mini-van and she said, "Oh, I didn't know you were mini-van people." We've been branded. There was a time in my life when I was just too cool to drive/own a mini-van, but those days are no longer. You just can't beat the space in a mini-van!
We got a higher trade in value on the Hyundai than we expected (shout out to Dahl Ford!) and we received more money from the insurance company than we expected. Andy said, "I think God wanted me to get hit by that guy." Maybe so. The timing was perfect.
So here is our new ride. It's a 2005 Chrysler Town and Country. Have I mentioned it has a lot of space? Cuz if I haven't, it has a lot of space!!! We love it.
I remember when we got our first van and just had the two older boys. It was awesome the amount of space! We still have the same van and yes, we can still fit a bunch of stuff in it, but most of that stuff is the 6 of us and the van doesn't seem as spacious. Little arms can reach a long way to pick on each other. :-)
ReplyDeleteBut I love our van and obviously, we couldn't return to a car if we wanted too. In fact we can't even all fit in Eric's JEEP and it seems really spacious too.
Welcome to the world of vans! I hope you enjoy it for years to come!
love the new ride!!
ReplyDeleteDahl ford sold us our truck too! Hope you're enjoying all that SPACE!
