Today we went in for Georgia's 15 month check-up. It was an overall fairly pleasant trip to the doctor, mainly because the vaccinations have been postponed. Georgia has a small rash on the back of her neck and shoulders and some sores on her throat. A strep test came back negative, but the doctor prefers to wait until the virus has passed before she is vaccinated. She doesn't have a fever and is in her normal happy mood and no antibiotics were necessary. We will, however, be back in a couple of weeks to get those vaccinations. The good news is that she will only have one more vaccination when she is 18 months old and then will be done until kindergarten. Woo hoo! Here are some stats:
Height - 29 inches - 10th percentile
Weight - 19 lbs 6 oz. - 3-5th percentile (not time for the forward facing car seat yet.)
In other Schumacher family news, Andy was driving to the church yesterday and was hit by a car. He is fine, as is the other driver. He was driving our Hyundai which already has some damage to it. I'd much rather get rid of that car than our Pontiac. So now it's time to shop for a new vehicle. It's kind of bummer because that Hyundai has been working fine and we wanted to drive it till it died. Oh well. At least we've been saving.

Glad to hear Andy's okay!! I know what you're saying about wishing the Hyundai would've been able to hold out a while longer, but I still think it's safe to say you kept it til the end!
ReplyDeleteNo more vaccinations is only exciting if you don't give her a flu shot every year. :(
